Back at some point in time, I made a suggestion about leaving waterarms slot only serve as a combine grapple&grab bind, whil others are left incorperated through switching respective ability (iceblast - freeze, torrent (one click)punch/(two clicks)spear).
But I wanna expand with anoternew feature for it. Called Sweep.
To activate it, executed waterarms. After forming the appendages, the user must then switch to and select Surge, and this will have the tentacles extend as if trying to reach out for its target. While their extented, the user by sweeping his POV to sweep targets away based off the direction you're sweeping them away.
This was demonstrated by Katara while evading the earthkingdom along with the avatar team.
