I say yes, but shorten the charge time, 10 sec and your dead against a fire or waterbender.

I agree with kwesi on the fact that it needs a charge time, because then it would become quite op. In addition, a cool feature to this move would be if it could melt through walls within a practical thickness.

If we go by that logic then, lava bending shouldn't be a thing, because only 2 in the world have ever been able to do it, same with blood, lightning, and flying(another idea for an air move on the forums)

Idk how op thiw might be, but I do believe it is worth discussing, great idea.

I personaly don't care of this idea, due to the fact that its part of the skill of bending to be able to manually dodge as well as throw some punches, and I see this ability being abused by chi blockers, teleporting 6 blocks in 1.5 seconds is pretty good.

Like charge, gives the bender 50% more damage, or spark paralising everyone around the bender. Somthing usefull to a firebender, and electricity should travel through water for 5 blocks or so.

That would be cool, but I, being a firebender myself, would prefer more moves with use in fights.

This was actually a move I was going to suggest, and I support it completely.

This is interesting, I played on a server that, I was told, was run by the original creator of the plugin and earth grab was 4 blocks trapping the opponent making it so they couldnt move or bend for 1 to 2 seconds or so. Although the earth didn't come up that high it was just one block up all...

Then why doesn't it? I have not found one server where that fact is true.

Yes, I understand, now what about preforming the actual move? With something that has the potential to do that much damage, shouldn't there be a more complicated process in instrumenting it?

I like this idea very much and believe it has great potential, there are many instances of lighting being used in different ways in the legend of korra. Further more, I believe there should be an explosion preceding the lighting as shown in the anime.
