This really wouldnt be necessary until the source selection of waterbending is cleaned up. I think these are good ideas but we are getting ahead of ourselves. How would the water be selected in the first place? This seems like an addition to a much more simple idea that water should be able to...

we want the suggestions to be singular because there could be a lot of confusing unwanted stuff in it. there might be certain features of a suggestion that are unwanted. So to keep the suggestions streamlined, we usually ask that there be one main idea to each suggestion.

Exactly. I dont think we should go as far as re-selecting sources, but if a player is running over a snow forest... the waterwave would continue until they weren't touching snowblocks.

Make a new suggestion if you want, however it really isnt necessary, so it would probably be denied.

I could understand if it was a small body of water to want to waterwave over it, which is exactly why I said, you should be able to keep going if your wave is touching water sources.

You use the word seemingly. However, there is no real reason as to why someone would need to go a super long distance like that. I dont think reselecting would make any sense in the current version of waterwave because of the fact that it's also waterspout. We are not talking about the ice...
