Not for the airbender. Everyone kills a cow or chicken to get some easy food in their first days of survival. This would mean that the airbender should make a farm and then wait till the crops grow (you're looking at 3-4 mc days without bone meal) and even then bread isn't as nutritious as steak...

Not really. I think that you are getting confused with the fact that earth benders have learned to spam earthblast really, and I mean really fast. Making lava even slower would balance the damage factor it will probably have. The martial art argument would have worked better in TLA. In LoK it...

I see your point but in the show you never saw a waterbender using torrent to blast someone in a wall to to do some extra damage. I feel that if this would be implemented to all elements it would make air less unique ..... (just my opinion)

This has been added to airbending because of it's lack of damage. Since the begining of the plugin airbenders have had to learn how to deal indirect damage by using air blast/suction so I think that they deserve it the most ....
