Really, if you edit your own config for your server, I see no point in complaining. It's not always server owners being lazy, but maybe they like the default, or they are busy, or they do not care for the config and just wanna have fun.

The difference there is that Katara was the first in generations, hama had been born with loads. Plus hama kinda strayed from either style, ya know, bloodbending and all.
