I'm having been having the same problem, Ive been trying to land this combo with earthbending like I used to be able too but now it doesn't work due to project korra </3. (It deals like the issue your having)

Should be editable in config for which element you want to be shown. Like Aang for example wouldn't it be odd for fire particles to be shown around him even if he doesn't have the capability to fire-bend? I also think this is a neat idea too

Also, most servers I just hop on they ask for me to not use lava surge because it creates lag :/

You guys said this is going to be purely aesthetic. But wasn't the reason Azula had blue fire because she was a firebending prodigy? Why shouldn't this make fire moves take more damage? Anyway that's how I remembered it was like.
