We don't just decide the Subelements in any random way. They have to be canon and have a use which would make them viable as a subelement.

That's still pretty limiting and also unneeded. It's also more work than you should need to activate avatarstate and also to use those other abilities, and still have quick access to your other abilities

It's not a rank, so much as a prefix. It just shows what element the player has, and shows avatar when said player has more than 1. Why it doesn't stay as fire would be a bug.

Erm no. Avatar title depends on if the player has more than one element, and doing /b choose clears all your current elements and makes your only element the specified one.

For future reference, if you want a duration disabled just make it some really big number so it seems like it.

It limits the persons binds, making them unable to switch presets/binds while in avatarstate.

I disagree with this mostly because there is no real need for them to be combined. It would basically be like making a MultiAbility called firebending, and having 9 abilities in that. This would limit avatars in a way they shouldn't be.
