This isn't really necessary. There are plugins that let you make "locked" doors and you can create a permission node that gives people the ability to open the door.

Yea, skin is semipermeable, but it usually only allows water to permeate in hypotonic or hypertonic enviorments are present. Cells only allow water to move in in and out via osmosis.
