No, sadly. The server will send you the same amount of particles (which is what creates the lag) but not all of them are shown when you have your settings down.

No, what happens is it floods the network. It has nothing to do with server capacity (although it will have an effect on it, this is not the issue here) but more just makes it so people on lower-end connections lag. I'm sort of passionate about this because I don't have the best connection...

Firework particles can't be controlled like other particles can. The only way of doing this I believe is by spawning in custom fireworks. Even then I don't think we can control the direction or the amount, either.

In all honesty, that wouldn't make things much better either. From what I recall, that command was per user. And cutting a few particles out here and there wouldn't honestly do that much apart from make things look worse... :L

That will reduce lag for you but not for the server.

As @xNuminousx said, it's not that easy to make one that looks great. You can spawn blue redstone particles, but they last barely a second so you'd have to spawn more of them to make up for it. Creating lag (both for you and the server). Blue FireBreath might be ok considering it works fine...

Hate to be that guy, but creating and maintaining an addon requires a LOT of time. And I mean a HELL OF A LOT. It's not something you can create in an hour. It takes many and is difficult beyond belief sometimes. I often have TONS of ideas for addons. Why don't I make them? I might attempt to...

Do the other players have build access? If not, that's a serious bug.

So you don't want players to bend within their own regions? Dunno why you would want that. If you want to disable bending globally then maybe disable bending for that whole world...?
