I like where you were headed with this, but I think disabling the regular passives isn't the way to go. I think there are just some passives that people get simply because they are that bending. On the other hand, furthering your "specialization" by increasing one area over another, I do like.

You do understand that in the show the bender could use any move they want, right? That's the issue. Also, everyone isn't different, they all just drop the same moves.

How do you think we EarthBenders fight with EarthBlast? Disruption and timing.

If it's made of earth/water the bender can redirect it. Therfore, I think we should be able to redirect ALL moves of our element. (The way watermanip and earthblast are) but I think we should have to have the move they are using selected.

I think a better way to describe it is glitchy.

I feel like the sandbending SubType should be manipulated with particles instead since we can already bend sand blocks and the particles would better resemble the individual 'grains' of sand. Other than that these abilities sound nice. :P

I like this idea. Very simple yet applicable.
