This move and Waterarms would be both too similars, and making it would be just unnecessary. I don't think a move should be made because of its damage if an action between two moves are mostly same.

In the show, there are two types of spirits, light and dark and probably its random in game which one you'll become as mentioned.

In /bending choose spirit, I think it means you replace your bending into becoming a Spirit and gaining its abilities. If it was to be /spirit choose spirit, you would have to choose to become whether a Dark spirit or a Light one, but as Mist mentioned it's random, and in my opinion /spirit...

Similar/same action can be done by MetalClips as you described which already is a move. I think this move will not be that useful, and Shuriken wouldn't be its correct/proper name.

It would be nice, but as it was in the show, waterbenders could use it on spirits only. I dont think that it should be the same for ingame mobs, too. This might be suitable for Spirits plugin.

Although I am not fond of waterbending, Ming-hua was my favourite due to the fact she was armless and great waterbender. I love her fightstyle.
