I used to be a redstoner till 1.8. The barrier are not real and can only be seen by the player. I send packets to the player saying there is a barrier block even though it is really not there.

Actually, I never look on the forums when I was devloping this move. Then, once I uploaded it, I saw finnbon's move. Besides, his is a wave that can climb walls while make is skating.

I think it's cause he's changing your velocity based on the direction your looking. So if you look directly down, your velocity will be 0x, -(some number)y, and 0z. Making it a hold shift ability is harder to code then constantly pressing shift :C
