I would like to point out that veins and arteries have valves. So if for some reason blood went in a different direction, the valves would close.

You know how Airbenders have a wall damage system to deal more damage? How about giving Waterbenders a ice shatter system where you can freeze a ball of ice and then shatter it to deal damage. Unlike wall damage, anyone can use the ice shatter system, but it would primarily help waterbenders...

After reading @nutterbutter, he/she said that the freezing with Surge and Torrent is unrealistic, I agree with this. Im suggesting that for Surge, we make water wrap around the player and then freeze. This would make much for sense and it would help with the problem of people phasing though...
