Unalaq actually could bend elements, if the lion turtles give then to him, all the lion turtles give his elemental power to the first avatar, and raava needed to ''pocess'' the first avatar to make him able to bend all the four, then the same could be done with unalaq, but he didn't received...

a good nerf for heatcontrol should be: you can't use heatcontrol against someone bending lava, cause the lavabender still have control over the lava, when you use lavaflow, you are still bending the lava on the earth, when using lavathrow you are still bending the lava in the air, so the...
