I know this isn't in the show but I think it would
be a pretty good move for earthbenders to use.

How the move would work: First, an earthbender must find a glass block/pane,
sneak on the glass, click on their target, then the glass would break sending pieces of glass at the
target.
How much damage: Since they're only pieces, they would only be 1.5 hearts
or less, but leaving the target with bleeding for about 3 to 5 seconds. (Glass is sharp o.o)

How the Animation would look like: As I said before, after they click on their target,
it would send white particles to the target.

Let me know what you guys think. \ (•◡•) /

I personally don't see where the earth is in glass (I know it's made from sand and all but I think the structure is too different to be bendable)

Sand is just melted to create glass. Like the laws say, matter cannot be destroyed or created. Only rearranged, therefore I support this idea.

It's just like when Toph invented Metal Bending, she found the pieces of earth within the metal. So you would basically be able to find the pieces of earth within the glass.

And maybe just use broken glass particles.

It would be too pure imo :3 If you think that they can't bend platinum because it's too pure, surely glass has fewer impurities than platinum >.<? Obviously I'm not a material specialists but that's just my logic..

I think there should be a cooldown cause the move is too strong.
I think the cooldown for this move would be like 10 or 15 seconds because of
the little pieces of earth in it.
I personally don't see where the earth is in glass (I know it's made from sand and all but I think the structure is too different to be bendable)
When its broken, it would make it more easier to bend. (I think, not 100%)

I think after glass, a Mirror would be a more purer version of it, making it very hard and long to bend :3

Think of it as Lava Bending, melting the glass a bit so that it is able to move, I don't know XD

I just think about this move a lot, and seeing this is cool. I want it added!

I personally don't like this because glass isn't even sand. Glass is super heated sand, which changes through metamorphisise . So its not anything made of earth anymore. And sand bending itself was a sub element. Which would make this a sub-sub element. Also, it doesn't make sense to me that a earth bender would be able to make peaces' of floating glass cut other people. Also how would glass shards be represented? I do like the though of a after-math effect on a earth move though

Glass is made of Earth, it is "Crystal". The Sand is still there, just changed. You would basically be finding the small bits of sand (Earth) in the glass.

I don't know how many times I've made this argument, but here I go again. Glass is nothing but sand. Changing its molecular properties doesn't make it stop being it's original material and I imagine that earthbender, in fact, can bend glass. And no, it's not like metalbending. There is nothing pure about heating it. It's composition is still sand. Metalbenders cannot bend the metal itself, only the earth within it. There's no way this can apply to something made entirely out of sand.

It's not an anime....
I agree, Anime is a Japanese-made show, The Legend Of Korra = Made in US

That depends completely on your definition of 'anime'.
Most people think it's strictly a term used for Japanese cartoons.
Anime is just a shortened version of the word 'animation', which all cartoons happen to be.

And, can we not make this post every time someone calls the television show an anime and get off topic. I:

Actually
Anime is a Japanese abbreviation which stands for Animēshon
It is used to refer to Japanese Animation Series

isnt glass purified sand? so u wouldnt be able to bend it like you cant bend other pure metals like diamond and what not?

Since some earthbenders are able to bend lava, lava can be used
to help bend glass into any shape or form that they see fit. Does that
sound about right?

maybe but would it remove the glass or just bend it out of the way? i think it would be better if u could melt the glass and manipulate it like earthmanipulation but it Must stay attached to the linked piece(s) of glass, on the other hand if its a single pane window you would be able to shoot the glass maybe? i love your sig btw
