Current Tornado
Often called lagnado because it's really just a distraction in battle, although it's great for travel. Its pesky and cheap, and most people don't use it.

Improved Tornado
This version would be able to be more fair in battle aswell as still useful in utility. It would be taller than twister but not by much, and would have a charge time instead of a constant shift. This would mean it would have a duration which stops those airbenders who sit on tornado and heal. However it allows certain moves to be used on the tornado such as airsweep, airswipe, airblast, so on. It's able to scale walls just as easily. This is my first suggestion so please go easy on me.

Eh, this kinda sounds like a timed airspout. I liked it up until you said you can use moves on it which is a very bad pet pev of mine with airbenders. Airbenders dont of much of a cooldown on a majority of their moves.

Agreed, also, airbenders aren't meant to do so much damage that's why there's not much of a cooldown on the majority of the air moves.

That little cooldown gets extremely overwhelming very fast.
