Sorry to do this, but his idea was based on common logic. Earth is the element of substance, meaning matter more or less. It would make sense that earth would be about being more connected and greater control over your element as all of earths subs focus on this. Controlling sand would make great sense as earth focuses less on movement and dmg and more on control. Plus, sand benders could make whirlwinds strong enough to push a craft, and Toph (little experience sandbending) could harden the sand in a really wide radius around herself. Anyway, sandbending may not be a strong sub element, but that's only because sandbending wasn't shown often. The logic is there, you just have to look closer.
Even if the logic is there, would YOU want to have to wait 15 seconds for glorified earthgrab? If anything, I'd imagine that a sandbender hardening sand would be represented by sandstone..

I don't think a Concept Designer should automatically deny a suggestion.
I think there should be a poll attached to every suggestion ever made and it will have 2 choices:

1. "Should this thread be denied"
2. "Should this thread be looked into"

This would actually improve the suggestion system so that a suggestion doesn't get denied because of the opinion of just 1 Concept Designer.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want something added, you basically have to follow and main 1-2 of these catergories: canonness, logic based on the real world, and following the direction the devs and Con devs want pk to go.
Sand dome is a) possible b) can be a bit canon with toph Harding sand and not to Mention the control she had with making tiny weeny ba sing se c) plus the devs want to beef up sand a bit so this would be great

Um If you read the suggestion you would see that I shorted the charge and it IS turning to sand stone I even added how it would be smooth sand stone then wen it gets hit it would "crack" and turn to regular sandstone

I still don't see why you would need sand dome. Even when it does have a charge time, it would only give added protection from the air, and with the charge time, people can easily get close to you with the sanddome, so the sanddome can actually work against you, especially if it's a chi blocker..

No. This would be ineffective as people as a whole are more bias than a single person, and are more likely to fall into the pressure of selecting the correct one. Also, if a concept designer denies something, it's not their opinion. It's their official look on the matter.
If this system was made, people could vote on rather or not something should be added through how cool it is it and how much they want it in the plugin. We want really cool things in the plugin not things that 1 Concept Designer thinks wouldn't be a waste of the staff team's time. If an entire community says a move should be looked into but just 1 Concept Designer says no, then how is that fair to people who want really cool things in a plugin? Also, this system could give the Staff Team an idea of what kind of moves most pleases them.
Concept Designers don't just go through and deny suggestions. They tend to have a reason as to why they deny it. (Did you know, if we implemented every single thing suggested, the plugin would be absolute garbage?)
Nobody said that you should implement every single thing suggested. All I want is for there to be an automatic poll stuck to every suggestion where you can choose if something "Should be Looked Into" or "Should be Denied".

Here's the thing though..
PK Staff want the PK Plugin to go in a certain direction...
If the entire community wants a move to be added, but if the PK Staff Team don't, then that could cause some issues if it gets a Looking Into... mainly because the staff don't want it to get a Looking Into because that isn't the way they want the plugin..
It sounds unjustified, but don't forget that all of the time and work that PK Staff members put into the plugin are voluntary.

Also, from my understanding, Concept Designers don't deny things just because THEY don't want it. If anything, they act like the messengers for the entire staff team. If the staff team doesn't want a suggestion to be added, then they'll have a CD Deny it. Then again, that's just my take on it- the reality of how the system works can be vastly different.

You are basically saying that the Staff Team can do whatever they want with the plugin even though community doesn't like it. I know I wouldn't continue what I was doing in a project if it didn't satisfy a major part of the project's community.

That's actually the truth- the staff can do whatever they want with the plugin- if people don't like it, then the staff will most likely change the plugin after a discussion. (Like I said before, this is my take on how staff runs) If you wouldn't continue what you were doing with a project if it didn't satisfy the majority, then fine. But staff here run differently compared to your view points. (I can understand your points though)
