The current legal issues about Bukkit

I don't know how many of you have read/are aware of the current situation with bukkit and the lawyers, but I am curious as to how ProjectKorra will react to this issue. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check the links below.

We wont really react to it? just continue what we do and hope for the best. Hopefully dinnerbone keeps his promise and updates to 1.8.0

Personally if bukkit does crash, i guess i will look into forge. Though i really hope bukkit doesnt crash. Its API is too beautiful

We already had some plans to move to the Modding API (since it has custom particles, blue flames would be lovely), but I wouldn't know much about this as my forum title would imply.

A new platform for Project Korra cannot be confirmed or denied at this time. Only MistPhizzle has the power to make that call.

Although it means little for the plugin dev community (or those without the latest CraftBukkit API), md_5, Thinkofdeath, and mikeprimm will still be releasing binary patches for Spigot. This is great news for server owners who are currently looking for working alternatives for Bukkit and their plugins.

Also, for those of you looking for a legal way to obtain Spigot build #1649, just shoot me a PM. If you don't trust me, you can check the MD5 sums for yourself.
