Hey,
I think that you should hold shift to charge catapult, and then click to catapult up.
The longer that you hold the charge for, the further you go.
Let me list a few reasons why catapult should be changed:
You would be able to click with catapult still, but it wouldn't take you very high or far.
The longer you charge catapult, the further you go, for example; you hold charge for 3 seconds, you go 30 blocks high.
Once you reach the max charge, it would automatically shoot you in the air.
(Optional) Blocks would form around you as you're charging it.
I would much prefer this version of catapult so when I used it I can decide how far I want to go and not get sent to the other side of the arena.

- Catapult overshoots in fights, it often takes you to the other side of the arena rather
- Earth benders can run away too easily, spamming catapult for a quick escape
- Catapult has a lot of force behind it and it would make much more sense that it would need to be charged rather than just clicked.
