Element-Water
Moves-Vine whip, Plant monster form.

In the show avatar last airbender, In a swamp tribe a few selective benders could bend and manipulate the water inside plants with a very high water concentration such as vines/leafs.

Vinewhip- Vine whip could be a ability that when a water ender binds the move to a slot (Ex) /bending bind vinewhip- Allows the water bender to target a vine or leaf block via shift, the water ender than aims their cursor than clicks. A high speed vine will shoot out from its original point and slash into any player and or mob it makes contact with. When it makes contact and does its damage it will then pull the target to the orgin point. Just like bottle bending in a ways, if the water ender has vines or leafs in their inventory they can use the ability straight up and the vine will be pulled back in to the person who used the ability after use, making it ready for reuse, This can also be used to pull dropped items directly to the player in the same function of airsuction.

Plant monster form- I personally don't know if this kind of coding is possibly but I wonder if there is a way for a water bender to go into a vine monster form, it was performed in the show and the move was pretty amazing, it allows a person to enter a full suit of plants that regenerates quickly and keeps the user pretty safe inside, a large quantitie of vines or leafs would need to be present to enter this form, How it could work is the water bender holds shift on a large patch of leafs/vines and they start being pulled to the water bender, once to the bender they begin building a large suit of regenerative plant material which roots them to the spot but is highly defensive and offensive. and inside the suit the bender can use multiple vine whips at a time. for attack and any hole made in the suit start regenerating itself.

Each vine whip would make the suit smaller and smaller, also this cant block attacks from below/ or that originate under the plant suit.

Thar be a picture of it below.

I agree that the Plant Monster Form would be great to add but it would just be so difficult to code.

Plant monster could just be green dyed leather armor, like earthbenders version of that. But then I would recommend upgrading eartharmor to iron or gold or chain armor. Maybe you could change the armor type based on block with eartharmor. The water version could have a longer warmup, seeing as how it took a while for him to collect enough plants for it. It could also give a regen effect, preferably half of 1 since we have healingwaters, but if that can't be done, then don't add regen.

It would be amazing, just really really hard to code and as you said, sloppy. well back to the drawing board it appears.

You can have the leaves outside your body like masterkael said, but that needs improvement. Maybe have a certain green leather armor piece, probably cactus green, put on the sides and back vines, put a bottom block as a leaf block, could be a certain type of leaf block, preferably jungle leaves to me, since I looked at leave blocks for this, and make it so that a skeleton head replaces your head, and bam. You got some leaf armor. I would add on that you could make it weak to things like fire, and any bladed item, a sword would be more effective then a axe, like a machete. You could make it so moves like icespike do more damage to it then watermanipulation, it takes 4 source blocks of leaves instead of 1, and it can only be used in a swamp. With those debuffs it seems pretty underpowered, so maybe make it extend the range of vinewhip. And bam, you got yourself the whole move.

I know it may not be ideal when it comes to looks, but what about iron golems? Ive seen other plugins where players can swap places with iron golems, and it seems like the golem's functions are pretty similar to the plant monster in the show.

There has been talk of using Iron Golems for metal armor.
