First of all let's learn something new, this was found on a website commented by someone :
I think I finally understand why Ming Hua is so good at bending without her arms.
First of all water bending is based off of Tai Chi. While taking Tai Chi classes, my teacher told me a story of how an old master once dreamed he had no arms. After that day his Tai Chi drastically improved. Tai Chi is a very full body style and it makes since that without the distraction of her arms, Ming Hua can attain a higher level of focus in her bending.
Now let's talk about toph's case, blindness
There is a video of Sifu Manuel Rodriguez explaining how Chu Gar Praying Mantis (Toph's earthbending style) isn't always based on sight. He said something along the lines of once he connected to the persons body he didn't need to see the person anymore to stop them from attacking. 13:20
We'll focus more on toph's case for this thread.
Toph uses her seismic sense to get a feel of things around her in connection to earth, she doesn't SEE the targets but rather, feels them, even when they're far away, that's toph's great advantage, her fighting style goes well with her style of earthbending, the chu gar praying mantis. Once you feel your target, you don't need to see the person anymore to stop them from attacking, but with toph's seismic sense, she ALWAYS feels her target when they're on the ground.
So you should get an idea of what i'm getting at, you should be able to feel and know where your enemies are, but of course at a price of blindness to focus more on your bending.
This is how i think tremorsense should be like...
You get blindness while having a straight line of particles to your opponents, your opponents can't see them (don't know if that's possible) but you can, even with your smaller radius of sight due to your blindness effect.
If the target is below your level, the particles will be of a different type.
Your particles will show even after your blindness has elasped but for only 1.5 seconds.
The particles will stop once it hits it's target, even if it doesn't actually touch it (Case for opponents underground, it will just stop in it's tracks once it hits the opponent's X and Z coordinates.
Sensing targets upwards will work the same as sensing targets below, but also using a different particle.
SenseRadius:30
Cooldown:9000
DurationOfBlindness: 5000
ParticleDuration: 6500
Description: 'This is one of an earthbenders' utility abilities, allowing them to sense targets around that comes in contact with the earth, hold sneak for 2 seconds with this ability without any disturbance, your bending will focus more on the contact that your targets will be with the earth so that you can sense them.'
