No or less fire?

A friend of mine owns a server and asked me, if I new of a plugin that stops fire. He needs it because of the firebenders the arena became into "a pit of hell"due to firebender causing lots of fires, which they last too long that leads to lag. He claims that he had tried AntiFire but it didn't work. I wanna know if there is any way to disable fire for firebenders or atleast reduce its duration so that it puts out fire alot more quicker. Is there?

i recommend greif prevention. this plugin help all players from getting grief and it prevents fire from spreading and destroying blocks (if enabled in the configuration).

You can probably use a world guard flag to stop the placement of fire, Although this will have a high chance of disabling firebending.

Unless if it still allows firedamage, then thats good to know.
