Denied MetalClips Addon

So I was thinking it would be pretty weird if a metalbender would not be able to do metalclips to a player that was wearing armor without ingots. It would make sense that they would be able to do this move with a player already wearing armor. The same effects would be applied depending on the amount of armor that is worn. Just a little addon I thought would be helpful. Thanks for reading!

If this is already possible, disregard. I have not used metalclips in game but have read what it does and do not remember it doing this.

And maybe you could use you armor's durability?

I am afraid this would make metalclips too overpowered. You have to land a clip on a player to be able to control them, so basically being able to bloodbend anyone wearing iron would be a bit much.
