How does AirSweep work?

Okay, so I have attempted the AirCombo ability AirSweep numerous times, however I don't really know how it works. I can execute the combo correctly (to my knowledge) and sometimes I see a small trail of air on the ground. It may damage upon contact, I can't remember. In the description it instructs to direct with a sweeping motion with the cursor, but no matter how many times I try that motion it does not seem to work. I'm wondering if it's a bug or if it's just very fiddly. I would appreciate it if someone who knew how it worked would tell me. Thank you.

(I apologise for posting it here. I saw the "Misc" tab and posted and later saw it related to downloads. I don't really know if I can delete it so if it could be moved I'd appreciate it. Thank you. )

I wasnt sure how it works firstly, but I think you have to hold shift and hold the left click, and then you can "sweep" with it. It sometimes go underground for me too, its might be a bug (sorry for bad english)

Ah, okay. Thanks for that. I'll try it again to see what I can figure out, but that actually helped so I appreciate it.

The move is rather fast, so you have sweep pretty quickly for it to move from what I have seen.

Yeah, I've been attempting it more and sweeping quickly, usually quickly spinning, and it works sometimes. It's fiddly though. I don't know if there's a definite way or it it needs polishing.

Yes, I mentioned before that I accidentally posted it here and couldn't figure out how to delete it, so I'd need help with that. :/

You have to AirSwipe twice - hold shift on AirBurst - click (while still shifting) - then immediately sweep your mouse in a straight line in any direction after you click. It sounds hard to execute, but its actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. The only tip I could give would be to try sweeping diagonally, left to right. It was the easiest way to execute it when I was first learning.
On a final note, I'm pretty sure the combo has like a 3-4 second cooldown, so don't immediately try it again after succesfully doing it, it won't work. Good luck~

I know the combo formula. In my main post I mentioned I can execute it correctly but mostly produce an incomplete effect. It's the swiping motion I wish to master. Thank you for the input though.

try this: before you left click your last airburst, look another direction

I find swiping from top to bottom easiest. Looks great as well. Feels like I'm swinging a giant sword
