Dodge ability for chiblockers

I'm new to the project korra forums and this my first thread on here. So anyways, I am suggesting that chiblockers should have a proper evade ability because as a person who mainly uses chi I find evading projectiles and getting close to your enemy tedious. I know that there is high jump and acrobat stance but those can only do so much. High jump will really only just launch you in the air and makes it easy for anyone with a projectile attack to hit you. Acrobatstance is pretty good for evading, but no so great at getting close to your oppents who can just shoot you to death. So here my suggestion for how it works

Move: Evade(or dash)
Cool down: 4 seconds or longer
How to use: Shift, Left click (Must be on the ground to work and cannot do it in the air)
Description: When a chiblocker uses this ability they will be lauched into the direction they are facing at the distance of 2 blocks. If a chiblocker uses acrobat stance while doing this move they will be launch 4 or 5 blocks in the direction the are facing at fast speed.
Uses for the ability: Evading attacks ,obviously, and a way of getting close to your enemy.

So that is my suggestion for a dodge ability for chiblockers. So please tell me what you of my suggestion. Also please go easy on me :)

Maybe during the dash/evade the user could be given reduced damage-intake/knockback? This would make it a little easier to get closer, as projectiles could still easily knock you back as you use Evade/dash
