Hey, I'm looking to customize some of the PK core moves even further, but a little lost on where to start. Sometimes the values in the config just don't cut it, is there some way that I could add more values to each move? Would I have to download the source code and do this by hand, or is there an easier way?

In order to customize abilities past what the configuration allows you to do, you'll need to jump into the source code for the project and edit the code directly. You'll need experience with Java code in order to maneuver the project and find the values you're wanting to edit. You can't just simply add values directly to the config and have them work.
