    meta in competitive gaming if you played competitively, means currently optimal lol. look at any smash game, any street fighter game, any fps game , or honestly just any real comp game. You'll see that meta is defined as 'current' AND optimal, meta generally is defined as what's currently optimal.

    Agreed I mean meta implies optimized, so if it's not optimized it's not meta. Therefore meta builds are the greatest builds. Also I'm god and if i were to bind waterbubble in place of octoform it'd probably cost me a match.

    So to answer the first one. Definitely not. You can have a 1 hit item, but if it provides slowness 10000 it's obviously useless in combat since you can't move...     Uh, you made my point for me. Only certain abilities have it... The config lacks the ability to change cd... You can't make it low damage and applicable to ALL moves which WOULD deal velocity damage. It's just not practical.

    Only problem with current, as it's called 'velocity' damage is that: It's overpowered, yet somehow: it's barely useful in combat simultaneously. It's just not coded well for the use of pvp, it doesn't have the configurability that a game mechanic like this should. Ex.) Swiftswim has a speed...

    I mean the worst part about the whole matter is thirst, you can eat because you can fish, but if you don't drink clean water you'll eventually die of thirst or some disease. Then there's hypothermia :P. Anyways as a waterbender you have waterspout and wakefishing why do you need a boat xD

    Well exactly, it'd force you to bind waterbubble over another useful move. It makes the most sense to keep it within current meta binds. (Not to say that wouldn't make more sense)

    Actually, if you remember tla phasechange, it went from ice to water to nothing, that mechanic should work just fine. Shift on phasechange and then punch? Or something? Maybe rightclick twice? It should be fairly fast so that the battle keeps its tempo.
