I think while its Raining Waterbenders should not have to select a source for their bending to work... like how the waterbottles work

Rainbending is kinda hard to work on it ,because it only detects whenereer there is a rain or not ,but not its location ,as like if you are in a cave or any other closed space while the outside is raining ,u'll start bending water ,even when the source is not on your sight ,that what i heard of why they dont added it in

Denied. While the idea is 'canon', it is not practical in a MC sense. When you check if there is rain in Minecraft it just gives you the state of the world as a whole, it doesn't take into account whether you are in a building, cave, underground, or whatever.

Just use bottles.
