I just tested this. It is not because a player has died when using torch, it was because they logged out while using torch. If you log out while using the torch ability, it will do what Strange said above, keeping the torch glow / particle where the player logged out (even after they log back...

I don't see why this can't be combined with Heat Control. It would be much better than a completely new ability that would need to be binded. But with swords and Heat Control punching would put out fires wouldn't it, unless it doesn't work with swords...

Hm. I guess so. Just thought it would be a neat idea. And it isn't anywhere near as much water as air bubble, plus you would be shifting and so can't go anywhere fast.

With the Fire move Heat Control, using a bow in the slot with Heat Control (maybe shifting at the same time too) and then shooting arrows could set them on fire (fire arrows like how it would be if used from a flame enchanted bow), similar to how Heat Control can cook fish by having a fish in...

With using fire bending, it seems almost all of the moves can't go underwater, meaning most people can just jump in a nearby pond and fire benders can't do much about it. This is a suggestion for two fire moves (sorry if this should be in two separate threads) that are able to go underwater...

Fire Burst and Blaze will replace glass panes with fire blocks. And the glass panes don't come back. Fire using these moves also replaces/removes torches, tall grass and flowers. It will even put fire in places it would not normally be from the move when replacing a torch. So if you had a torch...
