Torrent in my opinion should break blocks, Have you seen how Hama sliced that bolder using the water from the fire lilies

Water should automatically be stronger against bloodbending, I mean Katara was able to withstand Hama without being a bloodbender, Not to mention that would add a dependency on water bottles in the inventory.

Oh, and if you are fighting a person who catapults up to charge it, I use waterbending to make ice where they will land so they take fall damage and die.
