I’ve also had this problem on my test server. I can’t use my test server efficiently right now because of it. And I also can’t reload my server for testing because I time out before it finishes.

Do you have an error log? Does the player(s) that are saying it isn't working have the permission to use the ability? We need some more information.

No, bending manipulates already existing matter to the benders will. What vatuu did was create new matter where it did not exist before. That's magic. Bending at it's core is fictional magic, yes. But it still roughly follows the laws of physics. Like matter cannot be created nor destroyed...

Vatuu did not manipulate roots he manipulated vines. And the vines he bent were magically summoned from nothing in places where vines did not exist. It was pretty much magic.

Are you using ProjectKorra RPG? If so, I'd recommend removing it.

All i was saying was that yes, every element can deflect/redirect their element but as according to traditional art, they each do it in their own ways. Yes, there are aspects that leak into other arts but to keep the 4 elements as such, four, they would need to be able to deflect in their own...
