It was first intended to become the sky biome but it got turned into a different dimension.

Fun fact: In code, the end biome is not referred to as 'end' but as 'sky'.

You're using the wrong PK version.

It is a glitch. The closer to white the more often it happens.

It happens mostly with colors close to white indeed.

When flying into a wall, check if there is any open space in the player's direction using player.getLocation().getDirection(). If so, teleport them to that space.
