1/4/15 News Update!

V

Vidcom

Hey guys! This post, along with the rest of the forums, has now been made into a multi-coloured Comic Sans format, to try and make this place more entertaining.

Staff Changes:

  • MistPhizzle has stepped down, since he won't have time after college. Originally the scoundrel Coolade was the new Head Dev but a brief coup has placed AlexTheCoder in charge, using the new title of Glorious Leader. May all bow to his binary benevolence.
  • OwlCool is now a community mod, after heavy approval from other forum users
  • OmniCypher has been fired for creating too many addon moves that were better than those actually in the plugin
  • -BREAKING NEWS OmniCypher has been rehired by his Binary Benevolence and is now Assistant Lead Dev
Bending Changes:

  • All cooldowns, warmups and charge times have been abolished, due to lack of evidence of them being "cannon"
  • Project Korra staff can now use the new move SuperDuperAvatarState, which increases their size by approximately 1500% and allows them to fire laser beams. It's triggered by saying "Yip yip" in the chat, so you better yip yell for help if you see
  • If AvatarState is activated, "Avatar State Yip Yip!" is broadcasted on server chat. In this scenario, waterbenders are fine though! The horror activates a new waterbending subskill that provides them with infinite sources: Tearbending!
  • Lavabending is now a subelement only obtainable if you have both water- and firebending
  • On a similar note, Lightning is now a Lava/Plant/Air/Chi sub, as suggested by Coolade
Earthbending Changes:
  • Earthbenders can now use trees as a source since they're grown in earth and thus contain minerals
  • We tricked you! Lavabending moves are all back. Mojang never removed FallingBlock entities for lava, we did! April Fools!!
Firebending Changes;
  • Blaze has been removed, as a guy killed AlexTheCoder with it a few days ago and that's just not on
Waterbending Changes:
  • WaterArms has been added to Waterbending, but relies on false packets, much like TremorSense does. This means that only the waterbender using it can see it, no-one else. This is to save lag and try make it less underpowered as a move
Airbending Changes:
  • As airbenders can levitate any object in practise, they are now able to bend all elements
  • Combust added to Airbending. Click repeatedly and flames will appear from heated air
  • Transfigure added to Airbending. Hold crouch, and you turn invisible, travelling by the wind. Permission to use is default
Chiblocking Changes:
  • All chiblockers will now notice they are, in fact, mecha tanks now.
Community Changes:
  • This day will now be celebrated every month as the Anniversary Of The Glorious Revolution. All users of the forums are expected to pay some form of tribute to His Binary Benevolence for the occasion.
  • Ashe36, under orders of His Binary Benevolence, has annexed ownership of all ProjectKorra servers so as to unify our community. As an elite master of sass, all are expected to bow before him.
  • We are beginning to prepare our resources and potential strategies to mount an offensive attack on the Avatar: The Last Blockbender mod. This is a formal declaration of war.
- Herobrine removed.
